Real Conversations. Real Growth. Just 18 Inches at a Time.
Somewhere along the way, life has a way of knocking us down.
For me, it didn’t just knock me down — it took part of my foot with it.
(And yes, I do mean that literally.)
In the middle of a challenging season, as I was working to stand back up — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — I joked with a few friends:
“I don’t even have two full feet to stand on anymore... so I guess I’m getting back up on my foot and a half.”
That joke stuck. But so did the deeper truth underneath it.
Why “Foot & a Half”?
What started as a lighthearted line became the name for something much deeper: a podcast, a platform, and a process of bridging the gap between what we know and how we live — a journey I’ve watched in myself and others for years.
There’s about 18 inches between the head and the heart. But anyone who’s tried to live with integrity knows: it’s the longest distance in the world.
We all have things we know — leadership principles, faith values, life lessons — but until they move into our hearts, our relationships, and our reactions, we’re just carrying good ideas in the wrong place.
That’s the journey this podcast invites you into.
What We’re Building — One Episode at a Time
The Foot & a Half Podcast is a weekly, 18-minute conversation that’s intentionally short, refreshingly honest, and surprisingly deep. It’s designed for leaders, learners, and everyday people who are tired of shallow talk and ready for real transformation.
Each week, we explore how to:
Communicate with clarity
Lead with humility
Equip others with confidence
Parent with presence
Heal what’s been hiding
Live with integrity from the inside out
And we do it all through practical stories, honest reflections, and the kind of wisdom that doesn’t just fill your head — it reshapes your heart.
The Global Conversation
You won’t just hear from me.
Throughout the seasons ahead, I’ll be joined by leaders from around the world — voices I trust, people I’ve walked with, and thinkers who are doing the work in real time. They come from different industries, cultures, and perspectives, but they all have one thing in common:
They’re working to close the 18-inch gap in their own lives — and they’re willing to talk about it.
These aren’t canned interviews. They’re real conversations with people who are trying to lead well, live well, and get back up — even if they don’t have two full feet to stand on.
Why 18 Minutes?
Because you’re busy. Because depth doesn’t require an hour.
And because 18 minutes — one minute for every inch — gives us just enough space to be honest without getting overwhelmed.
It’s just the right amount of time to make you think… and maybe take a next step.

Why It Matters
Here’s what I know:
When the gap between your head and your heart gets smaller, your leadership gets stronger.
Your relationships get deeper.
Your presence becomes more powerful.
And you begin to live in alignment — with who you are, what you believe, and how you show up in the world.
And if that sounds like something worth pursuing… I’d love for you to join me.
